So yet another post for my story of the seed blog. I am experimenting on the broccoli. I'm pretty sure you've heard of it. But if you haven't, it is a small, green plant that has a head on top of it that looks like tiny little dots. There is not enough information to really know what parents my plant came from. My plant can pass down its genetic information by mating with another plant and some of its chromosomes will pass down when it has a baby. I think the child will look very similar because since they are the same species, I don't think they will look very different.
I think the reason why some plants look different is because they might have came from different parents and their parents could be a different type of broccoli. I think the reason why there are so many types of broccoli is through adaption. People take a broccoli from its normal place and place it in hotter of colder weather so eventually, the broccoli adapt to its new surroundings.
